I was five when Myst first came out, and ten the first time I played it. For three long weeks I plumped the depths of the most damnably addicting adventure game I had ever encountered. Now that cursed game is a threat to my, and all of our, free time again. Myst is coming out as an app for the iPhone.

The Myst-port comes from developer Cyan, and it will retail for $5.99 on the Apple App store. The game clocks in at a massive 727 megabytes, and requires 1.5 Gbs of free space on your iPhone or iPod touch.

I'm really hoping to see more classic games ported over to smartphones as apps. If we've got Myst now, can Starcraft or Unreal Tournament be too far behind?
