Activision has announced that map pack 1 for COD: World at War has hit a milestone with over two million downloads. That number is a combination of sales via Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. COD: World at War is a very cool game, but I preferred Modern Warfare to the WWII title.

The map pack includes four new multiplayer maps Nightfire, Station, Knee Deep, and Verruckt. On the Xbox, the map pack is 800 points and it sells for $9.99 of the PC. Gamers are no doubt waiting for the next map pack for the game.

"This is a huge milestone and we are so appreciative of our incredibly supportive community who continue to play and enjoy the game," said Mark Lamia, Studio Head of Treyarch. "We're hard at work on Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 2 and look forward to delivering that in June."
