Dell's Mini 10 netbook hasn't been on the market very long, but it has proven to be a popular machine for the computer maker. Dell has announced that it will now be offering new options on the netbook including an SSD and Ubuntu OS.

The machine starts at $399 with these two options. The Ubuntu version gets two storage options not offered on the XP version of the netbook including a 32GB hard drive for $75 and a 64GB version for $125.

Consumers can also opt for a larger 3-cell battery for another $15 promising 25% more battery life. For $35, you can get a 1366 x 768 resolution HD display for $35. Nice options for sure, but I don’t get why you can't get the same options on a XP machine.
