VTech Wireless Music Hub Now Available

VTech has announced that its Wireless Music Hub is now available online. The device is a Wi-Fi gateway to Internet radio from around the world and can play music from PCs and audio players. The models number for the device is IS9181 and is it intended to be a music hub for the entire home. The product retails for $199.95.

The system has built-in 3W front facing stereo speakers and a 10W sub with class D amps. The device can connect to 802.11b/g networks and offers access to over 11,000 Internet radio stations. The device also can play MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV, and Real file formats.

An auxiliary audio in cable allows connection of MP3 players or any other device that uses a 3.5mm headphone jack. Internet radio stations can be sorted by country, state, genre and more. Power comes from an AC adapter or six AA batteries.
