Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the video game, will be released in North America on June 30th of this year. Like most video games based off of movies (based off of books), the game will be hitting the market a little earlier than the feature film.

The Half-Blood Prince game will be released for the Xbox 360, the Nintendo Wii, the PlayStation 3, and the PlayStation 2. There will also be a PC version of the game, as well as mobile, PSP, and DS versions. Mac users won't be left out either; just this once Electronic Arts loves you too and will be releasing an Apple compatible version of Half Blood Prince on the 30th as well.

This is set up to be a really enormous release. Considering the ridiculous success worldwide of the Harry Potter franchise, it's not hard to see why. In just a little more than a month, gamers all across the country will be able to fight in wizard duels, solve mysteries, play Quidditch, and do pretty much everything else they read about in the books.
