Walmart says that part of the makeover will offer new color-coded and branded signs in categories like gaming and home office. New Blu-ray players will be added to the stores along with an expanded assortment of HDTVs with more 1080p and 120Hz sets.
A new display center for laptops and netbooks will also be added along with an expansion of the wireless products category by about 30%. Among the new products to be added this week and in the coming weeks are a $198 Philips Blu-ray player, the Dell Studio One 19 all-in-one, more HDTVs, the new 11-inch Acer netbook at $298 and more.
