Lenovo IdeaPad S12 Netbook has NVIDIA ION

Lenovo today announced the IdeaPad S12 netbook. The IdeaPad is Lenovo's first 12-inch netbook and actually features the NVIDIA ION platform.
Lenovo promises that the IdeaPad S12 with NVIDIA's ION graphics platform will be able to let you enjoy brilliant 1080p high definition video with silky smooth playback.
Other features of the IdeaPad S12 include 12.1 inch screen (1280x800px), Intel Atom N270, 1GB RAM and 160GB HDD.
The IdeaPad S12 netbook will be available in June for $449. I thought ION would make netbooks cheaper? Well maybe it is the 12 inch screen that drives the IdeaPad S12 into the four hundreds.
