Rumors about Apple basically repackaging the currently available 8GB iPhone 3G and making it the low-end of the upcoming new series of iPhones for 2009 intensify.
AppleInsider reports that two analysts now point towards a $99 iPhone that has the same specs as the currently available iPhone 3G.
I am not that concerned what Apple does on the low-end. This is only interesting when looking at how Apple gains market share in new markets and also goes deaper into the mainstram phone market. I am more excited to see what the high-end iPhone can do.
