Corsair is most known for its line of flash drives and computer RAM. The company also makes power supplies for enthusiast PCs and has announced a couple new PSUs with a modular design. The modular PSU is a great way to reduce the clutter from unneeded cables inside a PC chassis.

The Corsair Professional Series PSUs are available in 850W and 750W capacities. Both units feature advanced DC-to-DC circuitry and meet 80 Plus Silver Certification offering up to 90% energy efficiency. The units also feature powerful single +12V rails and deliver full rated power output at 50C. Pricing for the PSUs is unknown at this time.

I am a big fan of modular PSUs because one of the biggest issues with routing cables in my experience is all the extra and often long cables that are not used on my PSU. The mass of cables is very hard to hide away and often simply end up smashed into a vacant 5.25-inch drive bay.
