The camera has a dedicated camera power key to give users fast access to the camera function and can snap images as fast as any point-and-shoot camera on the market. The phone can shoot one image every 2 seconds.
Samsung gives the Pixon 12 a 28mm wide-angle lens for perspective and the ability to capture more of a scene. The camera can also capture full motion video for uploading to YouTube or other sharing sites. Other features include HSPA 900/2100MHz and GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900MHz service. Video is recorded at 720 x 480 resolutions and Wi-Fi connectivity is integrated. The phone will launch in Europe in June and other countries in August.
