Yesterday we reported about a rumor that T-Mobile USA has something big coming up on October 25th called Project Black. Apparently it is really called Project Dark inside T-Mobile.
BoyGenius got some info from a Tipster that cannot be verified, but it sounds interesting.
According to the Tipster T-Mobile Project Dark will be all about a super aggressively priced all you can eat plan that includes voice, SMS, MMS and data plan for $50. The T-Mobile Everything Unlimited Plan would be half of what Sprint charges for their Everything plan.
Besides the $50 Everything Unlimited plan, T-Mobile will launch the BlackBerry Bold 9700, the Nokia N900 and another Nseries Nokia. To top things off, T-Mobile employees would get new uniforms.
In our initial report the launch date for T-Mobile Project Dark is October 25th. We'll see what happens, but if the above is true it could send shockwaves through the carrier landscape in the United States and finally open the kind of real price war that we already have in many European countries.
