BlackBerry 8230 Pearl Flip For Verizon: Available June 19th

It sure as hell doesn't look like a BlackBerry, but the Pearl Flip 8230 is as much a member of the family as the Storm or the Bold. It packs a 324MHz processor, OS 4.6.0, a 2 megapixel camera, GPS, vertical QVGA display, and a SureType keyboard. It looks like a great little business phone/personal organizer, and the keyboard (while not as good as a full QWERTY) is definitely the best texting numpad I've seen.

Verizon customers can start getting their Flip on as soon as June 19th rolls around. That's not too far away, so you'd better get your $179.99 for a 2-year contract ready. There is a $70 rebate on the offer, so don't get too put off by the current price tag.
