Palm launched its Pre over the weekend and the handset started with an application catalog that was mostly in beta form with few games. Cellufun has announced that its library of social games will work on the Pre and are available for new Pre owners to play via their Internet browser on the phone.

Cellufun claims to be the world's largest mobile virtual community with dozens of different social games the mobile browser is among the few applications available for the Pre at launch. Among the games available from the service is the new title from Cellufun called Made Off.

"When married to the right mobile application, smart phones like the Pre allow consumers to have an engaging and fun experience for everyday things like gaming, social networking, and commerce. The Pre looks to be a runaway hit for Sprint, and we believe that the millions of Pre buyers will sprint to Cellufun.com to play our social games and tell their friends about it. There is a reason why Cellufun has been a top 10 download on the BlackBerry App World(TM) since its launch. We turn smart phones like the Pre into a social and entertainment network for consumers," said Neil Edwards, Chief Executive Officer of Cellufun (www.cellufun.com or m.cellufun.com on mobile).
