Earlier this month we reported about a rumored October 25th launch date for the new BlackBerry Storm 2.
The NY Times runs a story today about the Storm 2 that says Verizon Wireless and RIM will unveil the Storm 2 already this week.
Verizon CEO Lowell C. McAdam is already using the Storm 2 since a couple weeks shares an anecdote in the NY Times article that gives hope that the Storm 2 is actually a winner, maybe also with reviewers. Remember how the tech press hammered the first Storm? Quote: "I let them play with the second-generation Storm device, Mr. McAdam said. "They came back and said ‘Oh, my gosh.’ They were very excited. This is what they hoped the original Storm should be."
The Yankees and Pirates are still discussing the deal and it'll probably be completed, Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com tweets. It seems likely that the Pirates will take on $13-15MM of the $33MM remaining on Burnett's contract and give up two non-roster play ...
