T-Mobile Netherlands Posts Specs for iPhone 3G S

T-Mobile Netherlands, the iPhone carrier for that region, had announced the specifications of the iPhone 3G S that were previously unknown. According to the 3G S page on the website, the new iPhone has a 600MHz ARM processor and 256MB of RAM.

The iPhone 3G has a 400MHz ARM processor and 128MB of RAM. Apple had talked up the more RAM and faster processor at the 3G S' introduction, but didn’t give details.

Apple claims that het phone will do certain tasks up to twice as fast as the iPhone 3G. Take that with a grain of salt, Apple has been in hot water with exaggerated iPhone claims before. No hard launch date was announced for the Netherlands, the device launches in the U.S. on the 19th.
