Good news, Mac lovers. MichaelFlux has managed to get his grubby mits on a build of the upcoming Snow Leopard. He's posted a bunch of screen shots online, and the Mac Community wasted no time in picking them apart for all the nifty new info they could find.
-The desktop/screen saver control panel no longer renders full versions of desktop images when browsing. To save resources, images will appear only as thumbnails until selected.
-The speed of Mail index rendering seems to have increased.
-You can save selected text as a note, have it spoken aloud by your Mac, and save the audio file to iTunes if you wish.
-The VoiceOver Utility Interface has been updated to look more like the AirPort utility. Auto MIDI setup and Image Capture have also been update.
-The AirPort menu now shows the strength of all wireless signals in the area.
-The Quicktime interface has received a significant upgrade, and it now looks a lot more streamlined and intuitive.
