Hillcrest Labs has announced that the Loop pointer device is now being sold directly to consumers. The Loop is a mouse device that requires no desk, operates in the air, and is compatible with Mac and PCs.

The device is compatible with both Mac and PC systems and is perfect for those running an HTPC computer in the living room where there is typically no desk space for a traditional mouse.

The Loop has a round device that looks like a large ring and features four buttons and a scroll wheel. The Loop is available to purahcse now for $99. The Loop was originally a concept device designed simply to highlight the in-air pointing technology developed by Freespace. The device can be purchase don Amazon.com or on Hillcrestlabs.com.
