The King of Pop is now also the undisputed King of iTunes. After the sudden and sad death of Michael Jackson this week the top selling songs and top selling albums on iTunes are all from Michael Jackson.
At the height of Michael Jackson's fame CDs were the medium for music distribution. Now after his death Michael Jackson also dominates the digital download charts.
Currently Man in the Mirror is the top song and The Essential Michael Jackson is leading the Album charts followed by Thriller.
Overall 7 of the top 10 songs on iTunes are from Michael Jackson. Additionally the top 9 albums are currently also from Michael Jackson.
