Apple updated the iMac All-in-One computer line with new graphic systems in March. AppleInsider reports about a rumor that Apple is still going to release new iMacs this fall.
Along with the introductions of new iMacs the prices are supposed to come down by 7-10% as well.
Apple already cut pricing on its MacBook Pro line earlier this month.
I am personally still considering jumping from my Windows XP PC directly to a Snow Leopard OS X running iMac. Snow Leopard will be released in September. I can still wait with my decision until October 22nd when Windows 7 gets released, but then it is either Apple or Microsoft for my workplace computer.
I am still not quite sure if I will really jump ship, but the last couple of weeks I have had some hardware trouble and I really got sick of the diversity in the Windows land. I am getting too old for hunting drivers and dealing with incompatibilities. Apple's limiting choice makes things simpler, but of course is also not perfect.
