Canon VIXIA HG20 AVCHD 60GB HDD Camcorder captures HD video its 24Mbps capability, the addition of a video-capable SDHC card slot and the extended 60GB internal Hard Disk Drive allow you to record up to 22 hours of video onto the internal Hard Disk Drive.
Similar to all Canon VIXIA camcorders, it also features Canon’s exclusive DIGIC DV II image processor, FULL HD CMOS Sensor and a Canon HD video lens. With the 24p Cinema Mode, you can create the look and feel of Hollywood movies; and even utilize Canon’s select Photo Grabbing function to capture still images from previously recorded video. Its 30p mode provides the perfect frame rate for the web and delivers clarity for fast-action subjects. The device comes with Canon’s exclusive SuperRange Optical Image Stabilizer to stabilize a wide range of movements and Instant AF for accurate focusing that’s critical when shooting in HD. Pros
The Canon HG20 is a high quality, light, compact, easy to use camcorder. Features such as 60GB harddrive; LP and SP still good for video; connections to HDMI, USB, Analog outputs; Card Slot option; Auto Lense Cap etc are some of the best features of this player. The menu interface is easy, intuitive and user friendly.
Cons
The device is heavier than Full Flash based unit. . Its battery lasts a couple hours before needing to be charged. Therefore you may need to purchase additional batteries to enable extended use.
