BlackBerry users, your days of sub-par Gmail functionality may be nearing an end. Recent rumors indicate that RIM is currently working on a new Gmail Plug-In that should fix many of the issues BlackBerry owners have experienced with Gmail. See guys? Good things come to those who wait.
Rumored new functions include; reading email in Conversation View, adding and removing labels and stars from email, archiving/reporting spam, and full inbox search. Boy Genius states that the app is currently undergoing internal beta testing, which means it could be ready fairly soon.
It kind of sucks that pretty much every other smartphone OS out there got decent Gmail functionality working well before RIM, but at least they're finally catching up with the times.
