The new website allows shoppers to buy discontinued styles and shoppers looking for deals will also be able to take advantage of price reductions on a wide array of Oakley products on the site. The website will be launched in phases with the first phase offering apparel, footwear, and accessories from the past product roster.
The first 100 customers to place an order on the website will also get a free pair of Oakley Hijinx sunglasses. "We receive countless requests for discontinued designs, and OakleyVault.com will give customers a chance to get their hands on some of these sought-after items," said Colin Baden, president of Oakley. "Our main Web site and numerous retail locations will continue to serve core fans and followers who want the newest designs. The Oakley Vault Web site will complement these venues by offering discontinued items. Discount pricing will provide attractive entry points for customers who are new to the brand, and have yet to discover the true value of the world's best technologies," Baden concluded.
