This is still very much speculation and rumor, but it looks like there could be a good chance of a Facebook app finally launching for Android. There's been some bad blood between the two companies in the recent past. While pretty much every other smartphone OS out there has a Facebook app, Android has been left high and dry.
That could all be changing soon. Android and Me noticed a couple of interesting facts that could spell the imminent release of a Facebook app for Android. First, they saw a glimpse of what could be a Facebook app on the myTouch website. Then came the Rachael UI video, which shows the same app in use on Ericsson's new Android smartphone.
Please note that this is the most speculation-y of speculation. There's been nothing that even vaguely approaches confirmation yet, and as far as we know Facebook and Google still hate each other. I doubt we'll learn any more about this either way until the myTouch 3G launches.
