Some lucky jerks over in France managed to get their hands on one of the upcoming Asus Eee Keyboards. They played around with it and took a video of everything. Then they took it apart and looked inside.
The video just further confirms my believe that the Eee Keyboard is one seriously badass piece of gadgetry. It looks like something out of a Neal Stephenson novel and it comes with a gorgeous 5” touchscreen. It packs 32 GB of storage space, an Atom 270 Processor, and 1GB of RAM. To keep things cool, the keyboard has a 4cm fan which, according to the boys at Blogeee.net, is quite quiet.
The only disappointing finding was the wimpy 1bb0mAH battery. It's charge is supposed to last less than two hours, which is a little bit lame. I suppose the battery life of a netbook is too much to ask for on a device like this.
That little caveat aside, the EEE Keyboard looks fantastic, and I still want it so bad that it hurts. Are you planning on getting one? If so, what purpose do you have in mind for it?
