An O2 spokesman said that its exclusive with the iPhone could end soon. There is no official word on if Apple and T-Mobile are in talks and some call the rumor mere speculation.
What some see as happening is Apple allowing other providers to get the iPhone 3G while letting O2 have an exclusive with the new and more powerful iPhone 3GS. We know that Apple really needs more providers to grow its phone business so this seems like something that could happen.
