Traveling around the country just got a lot easier for iPhone owners. Google released search with 'My Location' for the iPhone today. Now if you go to Google on your iPhone and click the 'My Location' link on the homepage you'll be able to see exactly where you are in the city. With a few clicks more you can search for clubs, bars, resturaunts, hotels, and more within a certain radius of your position.
There are a lot of possibilities with a function like this, the most obvious of which is helping people to ease the stress of moving to a new city, or making it easier to find places while traveling. If you're in an unfamiliar town and you want to find a good Italian resturaunt, just search for one with My Location and you're good to go.
Search with 'My Location' is a feature that makes the iPhone leaps and bounds more useful for customers. Kudos go out once again to Google, for making it just a little bit easier to be alive. Thanks guys!
