LG said they'd have 3 Android handsets out by the end of 2009, and now it looks like we have evidence of what the first one will be. NewMobile states the first LG Android will be the GW 620 Eve. The rumor sounds legit, but we haven't seen any independent verification yet.
The Eve's specs aren't anything special. It's got a touchscreen with a 320 x 480 display, HSDPA and UMTS, WiFi and WLAN, plus a full QWERTY keyboard. That's nothing to write home about, but it puts the Eve pretty much even with every other Android smartphone coming out this Fall.
This rumor isn't official yet so stay tuned for confirmation, in addition to information about LG's remaining two Android phones. More leaks should be hitting the Web over the next few days.
