Early this morning, when it was still dark outside, I was awakened by the tell-tale squawk of my T-Mobile G1. Groggy and insensible, I reached for my mobile and poked at its screen. The smartphone lit up and displayed a shocking message,
“UPDATE AVAILABLE!”
Pure adrenaline shot through my nervous system. “DONUT!” I screamed, waking my roommate at the other end of the house.
My excitement was short lived, of course. The G1 update out today is not donut, it's just a minor G1 update and bug fix. We still have a few weeks at least before the arrival of donut. Still, those eight seconds of delirious joy were pretty nice.
