Hot on the heels of the announcement of the Nokia C Series comes news of more Nokia leaks. The most interesting find was of another upcoming line of Nokia phones; the X Series. It's been rumored that this X series will encompass the highly-anticipated line of Maemo 5 smartphones.
References were also found to 'Nokia Money', which looks to be attempt to establish a 'new platform' making purchases through the mobile Internet. Trademarks for the 'Nokia Booklet' were also found. The Booklet is one potential name for Nokia's first line of netbooks, which could be unveiled as early as Nokia World.
Things could turn out very interesting if Nokia ends up diving into the netbook market. They've certainly got the know-how and the experience to put together a great mobile computing device, but they're going to have to bring something special to the table if they want to stand out above the crowd. Staggering innovation isn't exactly Nokia's strongpoint, but I still think they could bring a lot to the netbook world, especially if they set out trying to bridge the gap between smartphones and netbooks.
