Here's some good news for the Android lovers across the pond. The HTC G2 Touch will be available for purchase online starting tomorrow, according to a tweet from the company itself. The G2 will also be out in retail stores over the next few days.
As an aside, I'm a big fan of company's giving out release information over Twitter. It cuts down on costs for them, and it disseminates the information much better than just sending out a press release would. Twitter's impact on social networking can't be denied, but I think its lasting contribution will be to the business world. Tweeting has changed the way companies dialogue with their customers forever.
This puts a stop to recent rumors that the launch of the G2 is being delayed until August for T-Mobile UK customers. Hopefully this is one of the last steps before we start to see G2s launch over in the United States.
