If you've been eagerly awaiting the release of Snow Leopard, your wait is nearly at an end. Amazon.com has it ready for pre-order right now. The single-user version of OS X 10.6 will run you $29. You can also grab the 5 user version 'family pack' for $49. The Server version of Snow Leopard is also available for pre-order for $499.
The final shipping date of Snow Leopard has yet to be decided, although it will most likely be sometime in September. OS X 10.6 will only work on Intel-based Macs, so PowerPC users will need to upgrade. Keep your spirits high, Apple fanatics. Your wait is almost over - pre-order OS X 10.6 now.
