Players can play the game as one of 16 playable civilizations with multiple difficulty levels. The iPhone version of the game has gesture based controls that use the potential of the platform. The game also has an integrated tutorial to teach users how to play.
The game promises to be easy to pick up and play while being robust enough to keep players familiar with the franchise happy. The game is on the App Store right now, grab it before it goes up to $10.
