And now we get to the absolute best news I've heard all day. Gizmodo has managed to get a hold of several leaked shots of the Zune HD in its package, along with confirmation on the release date. We now know with relative certainty that the Zune HD will be out in stores on September 15th.
There still isn't any 'official' price on the Zune HD, but yesterday's leak puts it at $220 for the 16 GB version, and $280 for the 32 GB version. These prices are based on an Amazon good, where they accidentally listed the retail prices for a short time. Considering how it happened, I am inclined to believe that these are the real prices.
