Dell's new Android smartphone is apparently ready for launch. Though it is only available in China now, there's a chance that this or a similar Dell device will be hitting stores stateside. Boy Genius managed to scrounge up some images and a spec list for the new smartphone.
It packs a 3.5” OTA capable LCD display with 262K colors. This new smartphone comes with Microsoft Exchange, Google, AIM, Yahoo, and MSN IM support, plus A-GPS and a multi-touch UI. It's camera is a 3 MP shooter with auto-focus, flash, an 8x digital zoom camera with 30 fps video shooting and a built in photo editor. It's got USB and Bluetooth 2.0, plus a MicroSD slot and an on-screen QWERTY keyboard to finish things off. All in all, not a bad little smartphone.
Boy Genius also notes that we should be on the lookout for a Motorola Morrison launch sometime in late-September. Those of you looking to get a budget Android handset should start saving for your plan fees now. There's not much time until release day.
