Good news, T-Mobile clients. According to TmoNews the 3G-enabled Samsung T659 Scarlet will finally hit stores next month. The Scarlet is either a low-end smartphone, or a very high-end sliding text phone. In addition to 3G capability it packs stereo bluetooth, a 2 MP camera with video capture, text/picture/and video messaging, plus instant messaging capabilities.
This new slider will hit stores on September 2nd of this year. Price hasn't been announced yet, but I'd expect this baby to come free with a 2 year voice and/or data plan. If you're looking for a budget 3G phone you can use to email, message, and tether, the Scarlet looks like a very solid choice.
