It's a big day for Samsung's digital camera department. In addition to their two new dual-LCD cameras, today also marks the release of a new 'connected digital camera', the CL65. This baby has built-in geo-tagging, Bluetooth 2.0, DNLA compatibility, WiFi connectivity, and embedded PC photo editing software.
The back has a 3.5” LCD display with a 1,152k resolution. It has Samsung's Smart Gesture UI and a 12.2 megapixel camera. Nicest of all is the 35mm Schneider-Kreuznach lens with 5x optical zoom. The CL65 is also capable of recording 720p HD video at 30fps in H.264. It comes with HDMI connectivity so that you can view those videos on any HD TV or monitor.
If the CL65 sounds like the right camera for you, it will be available in September of 2009 for $399.99. Again, I can't speak to the quality of this product from personal experience, but Samsung has a reputation for putting out fairly solid equipment.
