Droid And Droid Eris Rumored To Launch November 6th

Verizon Wireless started officially teasing the highly anticipated Droid Android 2.0 smartphone ten days ago. BoyGeniusReport says that their contacts claim the launch date of the Droid and the Droid Eris will be November 6th on Verizon Wireless.
The Droid already got exposed and handled as reported. BGR has also published a more in-depth preview of the Motorola Droid.
Feature highlights of the Droid include slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 550MHz Texas Instruments OMAP3430 CPU, PowerVR GPU, 256MB RAM, Wi-Fi, GPS, digital magnetometer, accelerometer, proximity sensors, 5MP autofocus camera with dual-LED flash, 3.7-inch screen with a cool 854×480px display.
