The Super Bowl XLIV will be held in Florida for the 10th time. CBS has the broadcasting rights this year and according to Portfolio Super Bowl 2010 Ad sales are off to a slow start. Six months until the big game apparently only half the inventory has been sold. The top ad price of $3m for a 30 second spot that NBC asked last year is likely to drop.
It is possible this is a real sign of the health of the economy. On the other hand more and more companies try to make ad deals closer to the actual event and not commit a year ahead.
Update:
CBS has sold out all Super Bowl 2010 commercial spots. Watch the already published Super Bowl 2010 ads ahead of the big game here.
We will of course bring you our Super Bowl Guide for Geeks again, focusing entirely on the Super Bowl Ads like we did for Super Bowl 2009. Have you seen last years funniest Super Bowl Ads.
