Last week we reported on the alleged finding of two new Palm handsets in Verizon's inventory system. Today, another leak from Boy Genius (via PreCentral) brings us word of two new Palm devices, this time both in Sprint's inventory. It looks like Christmas is coming about four months early for Palm fans.
These two new devices are listed as the Palm 120 Smartphone Handset and Palm C40 smartphone handset. Now, we know the Pre is coded as the P100, and the P120 is most likely code for the Eos. But what about the C40? It could be a larger model of Pre, or a new phone altogether. The C40 could be the Eos and the 120 could just be a Pre with more flash memory.
At this point, we don't have anything but a few names in a database. On the plus side, we now know that two new Palm devices, of SOME sort, are going to be hitting Sprint in the near future. We also know that the Pre is coming to Verizon along with some other Palm handset, most likely the Eos. Only time will tell us any more than that.
