In a kind of funny move Nintendo announced in a press-release amongst other things that black versions of the Wiimote, Nunchuck and Wii MotionPlus are coming in time for the Holidays to the United States.
The funny part is that the Black Wii is not announced yet for the US. The Black Wii has only been for sell for a month Japan.
Now you are free to conclude that the Black Wii console is of course also coming in time for Christmas or Nintendo is just playing with Ya! Fun aside, I am pretty sure the Black Wii will be announced soon for the US and European markets.
Even if it is just a new color, the new Black Wii will sell like hot cakes in the United States. The release of the Black Wii in Japan did spur sales dramatically.
