Nokia Rumored To Buy Palm Triggers Stock Surge

Buy Palm from Amazon Cyber Monday and Black Friday Now

A rumor that Nokia would be buying Palm triggered an 8% rise in Palm's stock yesterday. This is not a new rumor, but it is still not getting more believable.
It would only make sense for Nokia to buy Palm if they completely change their smartphone strategy and set everything on webOS. This is a risky gamble that could pay of big but also fail really big time. Nokia just made a reasonable move with the Nokia N900 Mameo Linux.
Nokia also anytime could from Mameo expand to also offer Android based phones. This are much cheaper alternatives than buying Palm and integrate the company into Nokia, which is sure a very hard task.
