LG announced the release schedule for the highly anticipated new LG Chocolate phone LG BL40. The Chocolate fans in the UK will be the first to get their hands on a BL40 starting mid-September.
The rest of the world will get the BL40 in October. The LG BL40 features a unique widened 21:9 display. On the 4-inch display the S-Class UI is supposed to give you more comfort for the reading of web pages and e-mail and it brings videos and games to life with cinematic flair.
Other features of the LG BL40 include HSDPA connectivity, 370h stand-by, 5 hour talk time, 5MP camera, 1.1GB internal memory, Bluetooth, WiFi, FM Radio, video recording, and microSD card slot.

The measurements of the BL40 are 128 x 51 x 10.9mm and the weight is 129g.

So, beginning with the UK, the new LG Chocolate will be released across the Europe in September and will be expanded to the rest of the world in October 2009.
