HP and designer Vivienne Tam have teamed up in the past for a digital clutch, which was a custom designed netbook aimed at women. HP and Tam announced that they would be teaming up again on a new Digital Clutch Chic that will be debuted during New York Fashion Week.

HP offers no images of the device ahead of its debut on the runway, but gives some hints about the machine and what it will look like. The device will marry fashion and technology to make a personal computer that it s lifestyle statement for women on the go.

The notebook will have the same style as Tam's spring 2010 collection that is inspired by the Chinese love story "Butterfly Lovers." The new digital clutch is expected to launch in spring 2010. I would bet it's just another netbook with a custom cover like the last Tam edition.
