The rumors of the Apple Tablet took a little break as the Apple Music event grabbed last week's Apple headlines. Now that we know all about the new iPods, the rumor mill about an Apple Tablet computer are back.
Taiwan's CENS (via 9to5Mac) reports that Taiwanese part suppliers are involved in a tablet PC that is supposed to launch in February of 2010.
The Apple Tablet would have a 9.6 inch screen, HSDPA 3G modem, and a custom P.A. Semi processor chip. The iTablet would sell for between $799 and $999.
Well, you can believe this information or not. The more pressing question is what would be the main use of an Apple Tablet? I still believe that a general purpose Tablet computer is a niche product.
