Pentax has unveiled a new DSLR for entry level buyers called the K-x that is one sexy looking bit of kit. The camera comes in the plain black we all loathe and can be had in more attractive white, red, and navy colors as well. I particularly like the red version.

The cam has a 12.4MP sensor, 2.7-inch LCD with Live View, HD movie recording at 720p and 24 fps and more. The shutter can activate in 1/6000 of a second and burst can be shot at 4.7 shots per second.

The cam also features shake reduction and face detection. The cam will be offered in a kit with a Pentax-DA L 55-300mm lens with F4-5.8 ED zoom lenses for £749.99.
