On the heels of the announcement that Sony already sold 1 million PS3 Slim consoles in the first 3 weeks, comes a warning that a PS3 Slim shortage is on the horizon.
According to Reuters Jack Tretton, CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment of America, said in an interview: "If things continue at this pace, it is conceivable that there will be product shortages".
Demand for the PS3 Slim is very high, that is for sure. Amazon has a purchase limit on the PS3 Slim, which only allows you to buy one PS3 Slim per household.
Sony would be doing itself no favor by failing to meet demand this Holiday shopping season. If you want to be sure, buy a PS3 Slim today unless you are waiting for the 250GB Sony PS3 Bundles.
