The Holiday 2009 shopping season is approaching fast and you can already get a feel for what toys your kids will be happy about to get on Christmas.
ToysRUs just sent us a link to their 2009 Hot Holiday Toys list. Their picks for top toy gifts for 2009 include educational toys like the LeapFrog Text and Learn, the Disney Netpal Asus Netbook and the Sony Reader.
The list also features the Zhu Zhu Pet Hamsters. These hamster are set to become as big as Furby once was.
Like Furby the Zhu Zhu Hamsters are interactive and react to touch, but they also can move around. A Zhu Zhu Hamster is rather affordable with $9.99.
But there are tons of accessories and games that can be bought for the Zhu Zhu Hamster to play with including Skateboard, Wheel and Tunnel, Surfboard and a Hamster Bed. This is where the company makes their money. See a video of the Zhu Zhu Hamsters below.
A Zhu Zhu Hamster as said above sells for $9.99, but on Amazon the prices are already way beyond that. A clear sign of the demand for Num Nums and Mr. Squiggles.
