Hot Deal: $80 Pres At Wal-Mart

This has been a week of Pre misinformation, but it's also been a week of deals for Palm's inaugural smartphone. Earlier this week the Pre went on sale at Amazon.com for just $100. And now, we have information from EverythingPre via Gizmodo that Wal-mart is selling the Pre for a mere $80.

This marks the first time the Pre has dropped below the cost of its competitor, the iPhone (if we don't count refurbished models). There's no information on how long this deal will last, but if you've been looking to get a Palm Pre this could be the best chance you'll get. Check it out here.
