Orange Getting iPhone in UK

O2s exclusive period in the UK has come to an end with the announcement that Orange will also be selling the iPhone 3G and 3GS in the UK. An exact date when the slick Apple devices will hit the carrier is unknown.

Apple and Orange only say the iPhone will hit the Orange network sometime this year. There is a pre-registration site for Orange users who are interested in the iPhone to sign up for more information.

I would bet the handset hits in the October or November time frame so it is available for holiday sales. I hope AT&Ts exclusive period ends soon so iPhone users can change to a network that can actually support calls without drops and other issues. Pricing on the device at Orange are unknown.
