Hercules says that the satellites of the systems use the thinnest style that is available and feature a black lacquer finish. The XPS 40 2.1 Slim system features a pair of satellites with a subwoofer. The satellites are 9.5-inches tall and have a total of 5 watts RMS and 10 watts of power peak.
The Hercules XPS 2.1 40 Slim has the two satellite speakers and adds a subwoofer with 16 watts of power alone. The satellites in the 2.1 system has 8 watts of power per speaker.
